A committee from the Central Library at the presidency of the northern technical university visits the library of the Medical Technical Institute/Mosul

The Medical Technical Institute/Mosul received a committee from the Central Library at the presidency of the northern Technical University, on a field visit aimed at following up the reality of work in the Institute’s library and reviewing the mechanisms of indexing, lending and organizing scientific sources.

The committee was received by the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs, who welcomed the members of the committee and provided a detailed explanation about the reality of the library and the development of services provided to students and teachers, especially in the areas of updating paper and digital sources and organizing electronic archiving.

During the visit, they also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Institute’s library and the Central Library in the areas of technical support, exchange of experiences and standardization of indexing systems in accordance with approved academic standards.

At the end of the visit, the committee expressed its thanks to the Deanship of the Institute and the library staff for the good reception and fruitful cooperation, stressing that these visits come within the university presidency’s plan to upgrade the level of library services in all its formations.
