Students of the Department of radiological technologies at the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul begin their systematic training at the Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital

The students of the Department of radiological technologies – the second stage at the Medical Technical Institute/Mosul began their systematic training at the Ibn Sina teaching hospital, within the requirements of the curriculum, which aims to enhance the Applied and diagnostic skills of students and qualify them in the field to deal with modern radiological devices.

The training includes direct handling of digital, CT and MRI radiology devices, familiarization with the basics of medical imaging of various types, along with the application of radiation safety principles to ensure the protection of the patient and staff from excessive radiation exposure.

This training aims to provide students with practical field experience in a realistic medical environment, through conducting radiological examinations under the supervision of specialized cadres at the hospital, and following up clinical cases to enhance their ability to read and analyze radiographs and use them in medical diagnostics.

The training is conducted under the direct supervision of the teachers of the Department of radiological technologies at the Institute, and with the close follow-up of the dean of the Institute, assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Fadel Haddad, who stressed that the systematic training represents a fundamental pillar in refining the skills of students and preparing them professionally according to high academic standards.

This activity comes within the direction of the Medical Technical Institute/Mosul to enhance the integration of the theoretical and methodological aspects in the school curricula, in an effort to prepare technical cadres with the scientific competence and applied experience necessary to support the health system in Nineveh Governorate and Iraq in general.
