Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadhil Haddad – the Dean of Medical Technical Institute of Mosul- Women’s Affairs Unit, in collaboration with CBR Safety and Security Unit, organized a workshop titled (The Role of Citizen and Country in Environmental Preservation)

Aims

It highlights the significance of seemingly small behaviours that collectively contribute significantly to environmental preservation.

It emphasises positive behaviours and practices that every individual, regardless of their position, can contribute to environmental conservation.

To maintain environmental safety, we must reduce pollution and find solutions to the challenges our environment faces.
Recommendations

Be mindful of cleanliness in the places where we live, whether it’s our home or city.

Spread environmental awareness among family members, neighbours, and relatives and provide guidance and advice to them.

Warn against overgrazing, unsustainable logging, and unsustainable hunting practices in all forms.

Utilize filters that protect the environment from emissions resulting from fuel usage.

Apply preventive maintenance principles to inspect vehicles, pipelines, homes, and stoves.

Minimize the use of chemical pesticides as much as possible and consider alternatives such as biological pest control.

Conserve water by not wasting it.
-
Be mindful of energy usage, especially electricity.
