A: Subjects include Biochemistry, Microbiology, Laboratory Techniques, Physiology, and Anatomy, in addition to Computer Studies and English Language.

A: Training is conducted in the department’s specialized laboratories within the institute, as well as through clinical training in hospitals affiliated with the Nineveh Health Directorate, such as Al-Salam Hospital and Al-Khansaa Hospital.

A: Yes. First-year students are required to complete one month of summer training in government hospitals to learn blood collection procedures and perform basic laboratory tests.

A: Graduates are designated as Laboratory Technicians, responsible for conducting medical laboratory analyses, including blood, urine, chemistry, and microscopic examinations.

A: Yes. The department is covered by Medical Internship Law No. 6, and graduates are centrally appointed to hospitals and health centers under the Ministry of Health.
