The launch of a scientific course on the Hall of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar at the Mosul Medical Technical Institute entitled (chemistry and its relationship to healthy nutrition)

 


Under the patronage of the president of the northern Technical University, professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and under the supervision, follow-up and presence of the dean of the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul, assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Fadel Haddad, the tagged Scientific Session was launched this Monday morning, January 12, 2026:
“Chemistry and its relationship to healthy nutrition”
This was done in the presence of the Hall of Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar in the classroom building of the Medical Technical Institute/ Mosul and around a group of teachers, cadres and students of the Institute .
The course witnessed the participation of a selection of the Institute’s teachers, where lectures were given by:

. The assistant teacher Sudad raiq Jamal

The lectures of the course dealt with highlighting the complementary relationship between chemistry and healthy nutrition, the role of chemical compounds and nutrients in supporting human health and preventing diseases, in addition to explaining the scientific foundations of proper nutrition and its impact on improving the quality of life.
The course aims to enhance the scientific and health awareness among the participants, linking theoretical aspects with practical applications related to the health field, which contributes to the development of academic knowledge and raising the efficiency of staff and students.
The dean of the Institute stressed the keenness of the Institute’s management to support scientific activities and specialized courses that contribute to strengthening the health culture and rationalizing the educational process, praising the efforts of lecturers and organizers of the course.
