Message

The need for an emergency medical technician is constantly increasing due to the increase of accidents and medical emergencies resulting from the changing lifestyle. An emergency medical technician (EMT) is a healthcare professional who provides advanced emergency care to patients with serious injuries. Emergency medical teams are trained to respond quickly to people in critical conditions and provide them with care before entering the hospital. They are skilled in performing some life-saving procedures.

Aim

This department aims to graduate technical cadres who have the ability to:

  1. Life-saving procedures and maintain the patient or injured person’s condition safely until reaching the hospital.

  2. Evaluate the accident site before dealing with the case and ensure the safety of the paramedic, the injured person and the public.

  3. Relief work and disseminate awareness messages to reduce health and environmental risks to people.

  4. Carry the patient properly without aggravating the injury and its damage.

  5. Use modern medical devices to diagnose the patient’s needs and monitor the development of his condition.
