The Radiographic Imaging Techniques Department aspires to become a leading center for providing distinguished technical education that keeps pace with the latest scientific and technological advancements in medical imaging. The department aims to prepare highly qualified technical professionals proficient in utilizing advanced radiographic imaging devices, contributing to enhanced healthcare services through accurate and early diagnoses, while adhering to global standards of quality and safety.

Providing higher medical technical education in radiography capable of meeting the needs of the labor market in various medical fields and seeking to develop knowledge and skills to suit ongoing developments in the field of imaging and radiological diagnosis and embodying the ethics of technical education.

 Objectives

1- Qualifying technical medical personnel specialized in the field of radiography

2- Training students on how to deal with various medical conditions that require radiography

3- Training students on how to reduce the risks of radiation exposure to patients and workers during radiography

4- Training students on how to control the quality of radiography

5- Teaching and providing students with the professional and administrative ethical foundations related to radiography

6- Developing students’ educational and research capabilities and creativity skills

Graduate Description

1-Minimizing the side effects by positioning the patient correctly.

2- Adjusting radiographic devices suitably to capturing radiographic photos for the targeted organ.

3- Using chemical auxiliary substances in radiography.

4- Doing film development to all pictures.

5- Doing maintenance on devices recently used.
