Mosul Medical Technical Institute
A Brief History of MMTI
The Medical Technical Institute of Mosul was established in 1980 with a single department and was initially affiliated with the Foundation of Technical Institutes. Following the establishment of the Northern Technical University in 2014, the institute became part of the Technical Institute of Mosul. However, in 2023, it gained independence as a distinct formation under the name “Medical Technical Institute of Mosul”.

The need for supportive medical services for specialized facilities has increased, with natural population growth pushing towards more health institutions with technical expertise capable of supporting the health system and improving the quality of life.
