It aims to equip students with core and specialized scientific knowledge in the field of anesthesia techniques, including learning general and local anesthesia methods, patient care protocols in intensive care units (ICUs), understanding patients’ normal vital signs within the ICU, and gaining comprehensive knowledge of anesthetic drugs and intensive care medications.
Skill-Based Objectives
It aims to develop students’ practical skills in understanding general and local anesthesia procedures, monitoring patients’ normal vital signs in intensive care units (ICUs), operating the anesthesia workstation (cart) in the operating theater, and effectively utilizing anesthesia equipment and instruments during surgical operations.
Behavioral and Professional Objectives
It aims to foster commitment to humanitarian values by demonstrating respect for patients and maintaining absolute confidentiality of their medical information. Additionally, it focuses on addressing cultural and religious values by effectively engaging with patients in a manner that respects their culture, religion, expectations, and anxieties regarding the anesthesia process, while strictly adhering to ethical and professional standards in delivering medical care.
