Our Vision
Anesthesia techniques represent a vital pillar within operating theaters and intensive care units, where the graduate’s work directly impacts patient safety and the stability of their vital signs. Since this specialty requires ultimate mental focus and absolute precision under pressure, the Psychological Counseling Unit aims to prepare a generation of technicians who combine high medical competence with emotional stability to ensure safe and successful healthcare delivery.
Our Objectives
Developing Emotional Stability: Enabling students to maintain absolute calm and focus while managing critical cases and sudden emergencies inside the operating room.
Managing Anxiety & Pressure: Equipping students with psychological strategies to handle intensive practical training, high medical responsibility, and long shifts.
Patient Care Psychology: Training students on how to alleviate pre-operative anxiety and fear in patients, offering comfort to them and their families before anesthesia and during recovery.
Fostering Medical Teamwork: Building effective communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with surgeons and the rest of the healthcare team within the sterile, high-stakes OR environment.
Our Services
Specialized Individual Counseling: Providing academic and psychological sessions to help students adapt to the unique atmosphere of hospitals and operating rooms under strict confidentiality.
Support & Rehabilitation Workshops: Organizing regular seminars on “Stress Management in Critical Medical Environments,” “Ethics of the Anesthesia Technician,” and “Mindfulness & Sustained Focus.”
Academic Monitoring: Identifying and supporting students who face challenges in theoretical comprehension or clinical application, creating supportive plans to boost their capabilities.
A Message to the Guardians of Safety in the OR:
“Your precision and your patients’ safety stem from your own mental clarity and psychological stability. We are always here to support and guide you, so you can remain a constant source of reassurance and safety.”
