Assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Fadel Hamid Haddad, dean of the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul, participated as a member of the master’s thesis discussion Committee that took place at Holler Medical University / Faculty of Health Sciences, tagged:
“The Association Between Oxidative Stress, Antioxidant Status, and Fucose-Related Parameters in Leukemia Patients”
For student Jehan Wes Jalil.
The dissertation dealt with the study of the relationship between oxidative stress, the level of antioxidants and the parameters associated with glucose in patients with leukemia, with the aim of identifying the vital changes that accompany the development of the disease, and exploring the possibility of adopting these indicators as auxiliary factors in the diagnosis and prediction of the fate of the disease.
The study aims to expand the scientific understanding of the metabolic and immune processes associated with leukemia, and contribute to the development of accurate medical strategies that allow improving the diagnosis of the disease and follow-up therapeutically.
At the end of the discussion, the Faculty of Health Sciences / holler Medical University presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to the dean, assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Fadel Hamid Haddad, in recognition of his active scientific participation and outstanding efforts in enriching the academic debate and supporting the scientific research process.
