The Medical Technical Institute / Mosul concludes an awareness course entitled:
“The role of educational institutions in spreading awareness against human trafficking”
Under the patronage of the president of the northern Technical University, professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Al-Attar،
Under the supervision of the dean of the Medical Technical Institute/Mosul, assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Fadel Haddad, the continuing education unit, in cooperation with the University psychological counseling and Guidance Unit and the Department of anesthesia techniques, concluded a training course entitled:
“The role of educational institutions in spreading awareness against human trafficking”.

Course themes:
1. Definition of the phenomenon of human trafficking and its various forms.
2. The role of educational institutions in spreading awareness and Prevention.
3. Psychological and social effects of this phenomenon.
4. Mechanisms of institutional and community cooperation to address them.
Course objectives:
1. Raising the awareness of students and affiliates about the risks of human trafficking.
2. Highlighting the role of education in building a culture of rejection of these practices.
3. Promote the spirit of social responsibility among students.
4. Contribute to the creation of a safe and conscious university environment.
Recommendations:
1. Intensify awareness-raising courses on the dangers of human trafficking.
2. Involve the University media in spreading the culture of awareness and Prevention.
3. Support activities that promote human and human rights values.
4. Encouraging cooperation between educational institutions and relevant authorities to combat this phenomenon.
