Dean of the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul holds a meeting with Istanbul Gelisim University to discuss student training and strengthen international cooperation.
Under the direct guidance of the President of Northern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Alyaa Abbas Al-Attar, and within the framework of Medical Technical Institute of Mosul efforts to develop the skills of its students and to engage with international academic experiences, the Dean of the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadil Haddad, held a joint meeting—organized in cooperation with the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the Presidency of Northern Technical University—with representatives of Istanbul Gelisim University, Turkey.
During the meeting, mechanisms for training a group of the Institute’s students in specific specializations at Istanbul Gelisim University were discussed, with the aim of equipping them with modern scientific and practical skills in line with international standards. This initiative seeks to enhance their academic and professional competence and enable them to keep pace with global developments in their respective fields of specialization.
The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen academic internationalization by activating cooperation between corresponding departments in both universities.
The Dean of the Institute affirmed that this step comes within the Institute’s strategy aimed at advancing the level of technical and medical education and providing qualitative training opportunities for its students, thereby contributing to their preparation for the labor market both locally and internationally. He also praised the role of the University Presidency in supporting initiatives of international cooperation.
