Head of the Community Health Techniques Department Serves as a Member of a Master’s Thesis Defense Committee at Tikrit University

Asst. Prof. Dr. Safaa Mahmoud Sultan, Head of the Community Health Techniques Department at the Medical Technical Institute / Mosul, Northern Technical University, served as a member of the Master’s thesis examination committee for the graduate student Omar Hassan Danoon at the Department of Life Sciences, College of Science, Tikrit University.

The thesis was titled:

“The Synergistic Effect of Biologically Synthesized Silver Nanoparticles Enhanced with Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract in Controlling Oral Candidiasis Isolated from Selected Children’s Hospitals in Mosul City.”

Research Focus and Objectives

The thesis aimed to evaluate an innovative biotechnological approach based on combining biologically prepared silver nanoparticles with Moringa leaf extract to combat Candida fungal isolates responsible for oral candidiasis, particularly strains resistant to conventional antifungal medications.

Recognition and Appreciation

At the conclusion of the defense session, the Dean of the College of Science at Tikrit University, Prof. Dr. Abdulkhaleq Alwan Muhaimid, presented a Letter of Thanks and Appreciation to Asst. Prof. Dr. Safaa Mahmoud Sultan in recognition of her valuable academic contributions and active participation as a member of the defense committee.
